Lifeguarding Qualifications
(1) Must be at least 15 years old.
(2) Valid American Red Cross Certifications in Lifeguard Training & First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
(3) Working papers required if under 18 years old.
(4) You must be a strong swimmer, and, naturally, the job requires a certain degree of fitness, strength and stamina to act quickly in the case of an emergency.
Pool Manager
Among the responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator and Aquatics Supervisor, provides full management of the pool facility.
(1) Supervision of lifeguard staff.
(2) Ensure that only approved pool members and their guests have access to the pool.
(3) Complete all required documentation on a daily basis.
(4) Oversee facility maintenance.
(5) Facilitate the issuance of pool safety rules and regulations as specified by the Homeowners Association and consistent with policies.
